Inner Peace

Finding inner peace is going deep within and finding your true self, your soul, who you truly are, your higher self.  There are many ways of establishing and maintaining inner peace.  The first step is to BEcome consciously aware of what you want: Inner Peace.  The second step is to DO.  What action are you going to take on a regular basis to establish and maintain this state of Inner Peace?  Do these actions until inner peace becomes a part of you.  Then you will HAVE your desired state. BE, DO, HAVE. If you want more peace, be more peaceful!


What is Inner Peace?   How does Inner Peace look to me?

Inner Peace is very calm and loving.  It is a state of balance in your heart, mind, and soul.  Everything feels right.  ALL IS WELL.

Discovering Inner Peace begins with understanding who you are.  The first step

in making a change is to become consciously aware of what you want to change.  Let’s change that inner imbalance to Inner Peace.

I am assuming that you are reading this because you want more peace in your heart (your belief).  The next step is to examine your thoughts.  When your thoughts are not peaceful, consciously focus your mind on more peaceful thoughts.  Then monitor your words.  Are you speaking words of peace?

I had an enlightening experience when I partook in a “Complaint Free World” challenge. The goal is to go 21 days without verbally complaining, criticizing, or gossiping. This transformed not only my words, but also my thoughts and ultimately my destiny.

As you continue to shift your beliefs, thoughts, and words, you will see your actions, habits, values, and ultimately your destiny shift to Inner Peace.


What action are you willing to DO to establish Inner Peace?

This is something that you WANT to DO, is fun to do, so you will continue to do it, until this action becomes a habit. This could be days, weeks, years, or forever.  It is up to you to decide.  Be gentle with yourself and keep doing it because you WANT Inner Peace for you!

  • Meditation: If you choose to work on quieting your mind, it will help you release the clutter and negative thoughts.  Then during your meditation, you can allow your higher-self thoughts and ideas to enter.
  • Visualization: Imagine a light, brighter than the sun, coming down from grandfather sky and up from grandmother earth, connecting in your heart.  Imagine that light expanding out to include your whole body.  Extend this healing, loving, peaceful light out into the world, with the core remaining in your heart.
  • Social: Interact with others who also want to have Inner Peace.  Choose to spend time with inspiring, happy, loving individuals.


With the help of Ester and Jerry Hicks’ book  The Law of Attraction, The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham, I was made aware of how interconnected everyone and everything is.  The Law of Attraction says “that which is like unto itself, is drawn.”  I began to understand that I was attracting all of my experiences.  I saw how my beliefs, thoughts, words, actions, habits, values affect MY destiny because my beliefs began showing up again and again in my world.   The world was my mirror on how I was.  Not only was I interacting with my world but my world was interacting with me.  People, animals, situations were like a mirror sending me messages about me.  As I gain more Inner Peace, my world becomes more peaceful.
